Good Afternoon Parents!Hope you all are having a great Tuesday! I just wanted to post this and remind you that Missy Mayger and Myself will be riding, along with many others, in the Bama and Back Bike Ride to raise money for Speed the Light on November 9th and 10th. This reason for this ride is to help provide vehicles for missionaries who are currently limited to riding bicycles themselves. As a ministry, Momentum sets a goal, by faith, to give to Speed the Light. This year we set our goal at $10,000 and are well over half way there! I need to tell you that we have not done one fund raiser this year, all of the money we have raised has been because of the faithfulness and hard work of your students!!!! But we haven't reached our goal yet.
So, I am asking you, as parents, to consider sponsoring Missy and I in this bike ride. 120 miles is no joke, well maybe to some but no to me :), and we will spend the better part of 8 hours on bicycles in order to finish the ride. Some have given a lump sum and some sponsor by the mile. What ever you do, please do something for two reasons:
1. Because we have missionaries who desperately need to share the gospel who are limited because of transportation,
2. We want to see our youth reach their goal!
